This is another Twice Baked Croissant! Twice baking means that we proof and bake a plain croissant, and then fill it with delicious goodies and re-bake it! We brush a healthy amount of lemon simple syrup inside, and then spread a Pistachio Frangipane, and top with fresh strawberries. Once that is baked and cooled, we top it with Pistachio Italian Buttercream and toasted pistachios!
Frangipane is the french term for a creamy custard that is usually flavored with almond. Our version has almond and Pistachios!
The strawberries we are sourcing come from my FAVORITE strawberry farm group in California - Coke Farm!
